Managed payments: Can I have both my Ebay accounts linked to one checking account

My Question is: For Sellers with multiple accounts, can we use the same checking account for our eBay accounts, since it will be horrendous for me to try to manage both eBay accounts and then two checking accounts.

PS I too am not thrilled about this managed payment thing.  Seems like its breaking some kind of monopoly rules.

But I need to sell my antiques and vintage goods, and unusable things in order to help defray medical and other costs now that I am puttering along on a sad fixed income.

So I am going to set up MP and give it a try, since I cannot afford not to be able to sell.  Not that I have great sales these days.  I miss the old days when eBay first started (we were offered $10 credit if we'd open a new account on the then-new auction platform!! I remember when listing ID numbers were 3,4,5 digits!) thru to when they allowed big businesses to sell.  eBaying was fun, and there were lots of sales and grand interactions with people the world over.  *Loud Audible Sigh*  IMBFHO, once the corporate greed took hold, and profits for the Suits became the primary concern, it really has been downhill for little sellers like me. Especially when typing is harder with arthritic hands, eyesight not so good, and aches and pains from sitting, trying to list.

I wish us little sellers could have our own section, like automotive does.

Well that said,  Thanks for any help.

And how easy would it be if I started MP with an existing checking account and wished to switch to a new, dedicated checking account?

Yes, you can use the same checking account.

Very easy to switch.  I was using my federal credit union checking account (since I started selling 20 years ago), and when I found out that using a major bank would take fewer days to receive payouts, I switched to my Bank of America checking account.  Now I receive payouts 4 days from when the buyer pays.

Thank you for the info @disneyshopper . Wouldn't it be great if banks competed for eBay sellers' business, and as a consequence there was published comparisons of account fees and (guaranteed!) payout timelines.

Many banks will give a free checking account if you have automatic deposits made to your account.  The account I have with my federal credit union is free since I was employed by a major theme park.  My other checking accounts are free because one receives my social security checks, and my Bank of America account receives my pension from my last employer.

I tried to add my bank account to multiple accounts recently, and it doesn't work.  It says that my account couldn't be verified.  Any solution?
