Here is why this hurts the small seller. I typically would utilize my PayPal funds immediately to pay for shipping and have a little left over for profit. Now I’m running into not having enough money set aside to pay for shipping immediately and I’ve actually been charged insufficient funds fees from my bank because my payments didn’t come through soon enough to my account and I’m trying to keep shipments on time. This has become even less profitable than before now. EBay is only for certain people, and not for me.

You may want to consider using your PayPal account to pay for the shipping labels rather than pending funds.

It will require a bit of adjustment on your part, but you will never be caught waiting for a pending payment to advance causing a shipping delay.

I use my PP account for shipping labels and fund those purchases on my PP with my credit card that gives me cash back.....so I am using my money twice which works very well for me.

EBAY "holds back" shipping so there will be money in your account to pay for labels.   When you print label (go to bottom of page) and click "use pending funds".

How is works is when customer purchases item EBAY immediately deducts (selling fees and shipping costs) balance is deposited into your checking account 5-7 days AFTER sale is made.    Shipping costs that EBAY deducted "held for you" to use for printing labels.

I am having the same problem, I saw one women posted that is you don't have the money to ship your  package, in the wrong business! I use my small account for my business they money should be there immediately. They pay for item, we do our part and ship the item. This has just made selling and shipping on time more difficult for the sellers. I don't know the reason behind changing from a system that was working fine.

Because Paypal quit the business and this is how most of the rest of the payment processors work.
