Can someone explain to me why ebay holds our money on disputes? They have access to our bank accounts. If the money is hold and you refund, the money comes out from available funds or your bank account so for a few days you are out double the money. Right now I have been waiting almost a week for funds to be released after a customer closed the case. Every time I call I am told I have wait. They take the money out right away why cannot they restore right away? Today I was told they would manually release the funds but I still have to wait 24-48 hours Why they could not do that last week? I do not understand. ebay has other ways to get the money so I am confused with the hold policy esp since they do not use the held money for refunds.
I believe a payment dispute has to run its course, a buyer doesn't have the option to close it. Is it a return or INR that the buyer voluntarily closed? If so, what is the status of the case in the Resolution Center?
