Hello Fellow Sellers, have you guys experienced not being able to sell certain items like coins, because of Ebays Managed Payment Systems? It is so frustrating that this was forced on us and now we can't sell things we have always been able to sell. No coins, no adult items, no gift cards? All things we have always been able to sell. I have a highly collectible coin and Ebay is going to be the best outlet for me to sell it, got my listing all ready to list and BOOM NOPE! Cmon Ebay this is beyond ridiculous, why would you force this down our throats then restrict us??? What about the sellers that only sell coins? You just eliminated many peoples abilities to make a living. You made us all sign up by July, I say you've had plenty of time to get this situated. It doesn't make sense. I wanted to know how this new "policy" is effecting other sellers. I sell all kinds of stuff so can sell other items to make up for this loss, but what about those that sell only the items that are now restricted?

One option Ebay could give us would be to turn Managed Payments off for those items and switch to accept Paypal only.

If a majority of a seller's listings are and have historically consisted of those kinds of items, in theory, the seller's account will not be forced into Managed Payments. If it's just a matter of a few coins or some girly magazines the seller hung onto from middle school, those listings will not be allowed.
You do have some options.
Other members may have additional options for you, as well.

I am frustrated with this also.
Also frustrated with the advise of opening a new account to sell coins. Unless eBay is aware that I am using that account for coins and agree, AND DON'T PUT selling limits on the NEW ACCOUNT(I AM NOT NEW), what's the point. I was advised by eBay personnel that the goal is to be able to sell coins under MB. That was around July/Aug. I do not have any evidence that this is going to happen. Not a peep.
