I am not currently enrolled in managed payments. I have received notification from eBay that I need to enroll next month. I have a few questions that I couldn’t find answers. Any insight, help is much appreciated!
Q1 Will I be able to continue using my P.O. Box as the return address?
Q2 Will my fees increase? I am currently at an above standard level
Q3 Sometimes years go by and I don’t sell anything. Would the managed payments program still keep me as a user without consistent activity?
Q4 is eBay working on enhancements to the program that would allow savings accounts to link? The other two main competitors have the savings account option and they use the same processor.
Q5 If I open a checking account...is there a wait period before being able to sign up for managed payments?
Q6 I was confused by the managed payment restriction on “auction activities”. Does this mean I wouldn’t be able to do auction listings? Only fixed price?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Q1 Will I be able to continue using my P.O. Box as the return address? Do you mean as your return shipping address? That shouldn't be a problem, but at some point they may ask you to verify a mailing address that can be confirmed as valid on the USPS website. Some rural users have had to use their Post Office's physical address because they don't have a street address.
Q2 Will my fees increase? I am currently at an above standard level. Your eBay fees will increase to about 12.35%, dependent on what category your sell in, but you will no longer have PayPal fees. Most have reported a very slight increase, while TRSs report a decrease.
Q3 Sometimes years go by and I don’t sell anything. Would the managed payments program still keep me as a user without consistent activity? I read somewhere that after a certain period of inactivity, your seller account may be suspended. Maybe someone else can confirm that. I don't think it meant you would lose the account but that you might have to go through the verification process again.
Q4 is eBay working on enhancements to the program that would allow savings accounts to link? The other two main competitors have the savings account option and they use the same processor. I have not heard anything on that.
Q5 If I open a checking account...is there a wait period before being able to sign up for managed payments? As long as you can provide the correct account number, name, etc. there shouldn't be a waiting period as far as eBay is concerned. A wait could be caused if they are unable to validate the account and you have to upload a statement, voided check, of verification letter from your bank.
Q6 I was confused by the managed payment restriction on “auction activities”. Does this mean I wouldn’t be able to do auction listings? Only fixed price?
I'm guessing that you are talking about the restriction that will occur if you don't sign up for MPs. You won't be able to list anything after your deadline if you don't sign up and get everything verified.

Thank you so much for addressing my questions. The last question was actually if I decide to go forward with managed payments would I still be able to list items in an auction format vs fixed format.
Several things I like for eBay vs their competitors is the auction format. Being a little seller it gives me some sort of control on shipping based on auction ending on specific day.
