What a terrible idea this is. You expect me to ship the item before the payment is in my account? What were you guys thinking? Legitimately, I need to know the thought process behind this

When a customer pays, it's paid for.  You can pay for shipping from the customers payment (pending payments). 

The thought process behind this is... this is how selling using electronic payments (credit cards) have worked since the CC was invented. B&M Stores do NOT get your $$ for about a week, yet they let you walk out the store immediately. Same concept.

HmmL though process: is that they do not say you got payed as PP did when the payment is not complete.
