Manage Payments has just ended my 20+ years of being on eBay

I know I'll hear all the eBay power sellers telling me how great eBay is, well I'm done with eBay. I had my first sale with this new system, and it sucks. Sold item for 625.00 and Ebay and they take 89.00 FV fee's. GREED ebay is all greed period. Then on top of this I'll be expected to pay uncle Sam and end of year. I'm not a business. I'm selling different items I've aquired and sell so I can buy other items. It's not income, I'm not selling 1,000's of items like a business, but that's how every seller is being treated now with the new system. So now eBay wants to hammer me like I'm making a living here. Hell if I was some big coorporation I wouldn't have to pay as much in taxes as I do as a lonley lower middle class individual.  Coorporations get all the tax breaks especially the ones making millions. I just had to vent after being here for over 20 years. Sellers get screwed all the time here. Just one example of a saleI had where I sold Brand New Golf Iron heads to a buyer who then played the irons waited until last day he could file a complaint, files complaint and eBay rules in buyers favor, surprise surprise. After sending pictures from the listing of sale showing clearly these irons head were brand new in shrink wrap they gave the money back to buyer and he sent me back used irons that I couldn't sell after he damaged said irons. I pused through thatdecision by ebay to screw me but no more. There are plenty of sites to sell for free. So good bye.

Where is this visibility you speak of?  Not many people have eBay high on their lists these days.  And yes, all the little guys are being kicked to the curb by the powers who get a kickback to do so.  Ma and Pa's are toast on the new eBay and that sucks.

Sounds  like  you completed all the other stuff in your post.  Maybe you didn't mean all what your wrote or kinda' like a "Cool Hand Luke" moment.

Just simply pointed out you still have 203 active eBay listings.

@johnrj1226That's funny I didn't realize I created this thread.  Pretty sure this was my comment:

"I don't blame you.  Bad enough they deliberately lied to us about the fees being lower.  Also despite costing us more the system is worse than PayPal.  I am glad I am working away from eBay.  I have been killing it on Facebook when I put in the effort.  Plus I have been working on more direct sales with repeat customers.  My only thing left to do is finish my Shopify store.  As it sits now I am doing double the sales outside of eBay vs eBay."

You appear to have missed this sentence "I am glad I am working away from eBay."  I don't recall ever saying I quit or had quit.  Working away implies I am slowly diverting my efforts away from eBay.  Although I will be creating my own thread regarding a new use I have found for eBay.

The member that created this thread (the OP) also created the title, so that title appears on everyone's responding post.
