Local Pickup - How to remove invoice?

I won an auction for an item and after messaging the seller, we agreed to do local pickup instead. We finished the transaction via cash, but even when the seller notified me that they canceled the order, I still have an invoice that is pending payment on eBay. How can I remove this invoice?

So the seller sold you the item, you picked it up, and then the seller cancelled? Sounds like an overt attempt to avoid paying fees.

They cancelled it whilst trying to remove the invoice that I was still receiving. Can I fix this at all? I was under the impression that Local Pickups were allowed and cash was encouraged to avoid PayPal scams, which I saw were a common problem.
