Instant payment not applying credit

Hi All,

I have just purchased an item and was offered a promo code (which was applied to clipboard). When I paid, instant payment bypassed the promo code option and checked out charging me the full amount.

How do I make sure I get that promo code discount in future? What do I need to change to make sure I don’t miss future discounts? And can I claw back the discount I should have received this time. This time it’s not a big deal (small discount) but next time might definitely be worth receiving.

Next time you need to turn the instant payment off before you try to check out. You'll have to do that in PayPal if that's what you're using. Then enter the code in to the appropriate box and make sure it applies it before clicking on the pay button. That instant payment doesn't give you the chance to change anything. And no, there's no way to apply the coupon after you've paid. Did it expire already?
