I think I am being scammed

The buyer requested that I text them then they requested the following 

Okay perfect, I want it shipped to my cousin in Tennessee as his birthday gift. i would like you to also get a eBay Gift Card of $300 included in the package before shipment, i work with the USA Marines and not able to have it shipped, I will add $300 to your payment for the eBay Gift Card, $50 for gas and stress & $50 to cover for the shipping cost.

This just doesn't seem legit!

You are kidding right? Any buyer asking to communicate outside eBay is a scammer.

Hi @uniquebeachboutique, 

It's an obvious scam. I believe it's called the "Russian wedding scam." As both @mtgraves7984 and @biggymoe said, add the buyer to your Blocked Buyer List, the buyer will get an unpaid item strike on day 5 (if the buyer gets 2 he may not be able to buy from certain sellers due to restrictions), and be sure to check out your post from yesterday to find your answers.
