There is no way to convert a gift card back to cash.  There are places that but them for less than face value.

There is a number on the back of the card you can call about issues with it. If you posted the card number that is a very bad thing to do.

If you paid for say a car you found on another site, you have lost your money for good.

Need more info to provide a better answer.

The ONLY way an eBay gift card can be used is to purchase an item that is listed for sale on eBay.

They cannot be "cashed".
