I believe that has been mentioned by eBay as a possibility in the future.

Hopefully when the roll-out of managed payments is done an electronic wallet will be developed.  I'm fine with everything going into my bank account, too, but I can see the usefulness of having the wallet - less to keep track of.

Good idea.  I do that now in a round-about way--I pay with the debit card that is attached to the checking account that receives my payouts.
