How to see an eBay statement payment breakdown for item sold on (non store) seller account

Hi. I sold an item for $356.00 plus a $14.98 shipping fee for a total of $370.98. My payments to eBay are through PayPal at 2.9%. That is all I have sold since the last billing cycle. eBay is charging $55.03 for this sale. Does eBay give an itemized fee charge breakdown anywhere on their site so that I am able to see how the figure of $55.03 that I owe came to be? I broke down the sale price charges and shipping charges each being at 10% charge from eBay and included the PayPal 2.9% charges as well and I still do not come up with $55.03? Appreciate any input.

$55.03 is about 15%. Are you being charged a higher Final Value Fee because of your performance rating? Are you "below standard"?

Hi. Thank you for your reply. Well, I am not a high volume store seller. I've only sold about 8 items since September an have gotten all good an timely feedback. Fast shipment and good communication. So I'm not really sure? I thought items sold were just a 10% fee on any item and shipping fees and PayPal gets their cut of course? Not sure what the deal is ;-(.  Kind of frustrating that eBay does not itemize charges? Most businesses itemize charges. Thank you.

Did you include Sales Tax when you calculated the 10% plus the 2.9%?

Your Order Detail page will show you all the money that your Fees are based on.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I did not :-). That must be the answer. So the sales tax must be included in the 10%  calculation?

Interesting. I just looked at the order details and it does not show tax collected?

It may be that the category you listed in is higher than the 10%. I’m in managed payments and having trouble finding the regular fees  There are certain categories that charge higher %.

Is this for the Walkman you sold.  Man that thing is big.  Only Walkman I remember would fit is you shirt pocket.

Anyway that should have been 10% fee as best as I can understand. 

I see it was a auction.  Did you have a Reserve Price on it.  If you did I believe you get charged for listing it as a Reserve Auction in addition to other fees.

From here click on Transaction Details and it will break down the Fees.

it was an 8mm videotape player/recorder.  I do remember the cassette audio walkman's hahahahaha....No reserve on this item. I still can't see the transaction details that  you show. I am going to items sold then click on item then click on Order Details but do not see Transaction Details? Is there another way through the back door or? 🙂
