How to cancel a paid order

Hi, I have recently made a purchase from a macbook seller and I want to cancel the order and i tried to cancel the order but ebay asked me to contact the seller and immediately i dropped a message to the seller but he is not responding and the item is also not shipped  yet so please suggest me how  can i cancel the transaction.

@anirudson-2   At this point you have done all you can, messaging the Seller and requesting the cancellation is what you are supposed to do and you did that.  A smart Seller will respond in kind and cancel using the reason "Buyer requested" ... you then get a message and confirm the cancellation.  The Seller can  then Relist the item immediately AND they get their eBay fess credited back to their account ... a smart Seller will do this ... if they wind up shipping it then you will have to return it ...

Thank you as today is labour day so USPS does not ships the product today so i have one day to request the seller lets hope for the best.

You are not off to a good start as a new buyer.

The seller will have to pay fees to cancel if not on MP.
