If you sent the picture of that card number to someone who told you that you were using it to buy a really cheap car from them that they would send to you and you have so many days to test out the car, then the scammers used the card minutes after you sent them the picture, and there is no car. Sorry about that.

If you bought or sold that card, and a picture that showed the bar code was posted, then it was probably emptied very shortly after the picture was posted online. In previous cases, a picture that included the top edge of the bar code was enough for the scammers to scan and read the code, and then hack the card.

If you bought the card on eBay, then you need to file a case for "item not as described" to get a refund.

Unfortunatley, no eBay staff members will see or read your posts. You could try reaching out to eBay, but, I doubt that there is anything they would do.

If you decide you want to contact eBay about your issue, here is how to contact them.

You can send an email message to eBay. Not sure if email is working. It is hit and miss due to COVID-19. I just used it on Aug 11, 2020 and got a reply and solution to a problem I found here on eBay. I was shocked. I used it again on Aug 26, 2020 and got a call and they took care of an eBay issue.

Social media worked for me. I received an answer and resolution to my issue fairly quickly. The CSR ended up calling me. It wouldn't hurt to leave a contact number.

You can also try to get phone support by visiting any help topic page, scroll down to the bottom of the page to the call back option. Click on the option and you should get a message that you will get a call back with the estimated time.

Be advised that this option is not available 24/7. If you try a time that is not eBay’s normal business hours the option may not be there or your call back will be take longer. I recommend trying this option in the morning time.
