Gift card not working, displays a balance of $0.00 when it should be $50.00

I bought the card through target's website, so I feel like it can't be a scam. I tried to use it last night and it didn't work. Tried again, checked the balance online, etc. Nothing. I really need this to work. I waited overnight and checked again and it still says there's nothing on it. I have no idea why and its really frustrating because nothing I'm doing is working. Can anyone help?

I would contact Target since that's where you bought the eBay gift card.

The only company that can help you is Target. Report the scam or error to Target and hope they can correct the problem.

Probably the standard retail gift card scam.

Target ships some of its orders from their stores using the stock on the floor.

Lots of luck dealing with Target on this.

I contacted target and they said the gift card was working when they sent it to me... I don't really know what to do, I'm out $50. I think eBay may be the problem here. It initially said that I can't use a card for this purchase and then said there's balance left. I really don't know what to do, I contacted target and tried to work out the problem through eBay but they don't really have customer support like that.

If you entered the card number into checkout but the transaction did not go through, see if the gift card amount appears as a line item on your checkout page -- it may have been linked to your account that way.
