Funds not Processing through to Available

I'm on Weekly Payouts ... lately by Monday afternoon weekend sales dollars have moved from Processing to Available ... except for this past weekend.  Now its pushing 11 PM and most of my Weekend sales (paid Sat & Sun) have not moved.  I am wondering if this is in the wake of the March 16 announcement about the new payout choices that were added - Monthly & bi-Weekly.

Also wondering if they have implemented those choices and now the system has slowed down ... which means I am also wondering if sometime during the wee hours of Tuesday morning the funds will finally shift ...

I am on daily and they have been processing lightning fast......impressively, in fact (prolly just jinxed it)

@katzrul15   Up until this weekend and today they were doing the same (except for the 6-8 annual bank closing Monday Holidays).  As a matter of fact, last year was the first I reported on eBay's improved cash flow with MP on one of my "Giving credit where credit is use" threads (link below).

However, historically things can get messed up after one of those updates so I am suspecting this may be  one of those cases ...

Might be.  I sold items yesterday and shipped this morning and received an email at 6am telling me they were already processing the payout.  So far.....it is clicking along...

I'll know for sure in the morning ... its just a deviation from the norm that I noticed ...

Have you seen this new Financial summary page layout?  I think it was just last week it popped up here.  Changes always concern me because more times then not something ultimately doesn't work ...

When you're on weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments, they are made on Tuesdays.

When you go to your all transactions page, it will show you when to expect funds.

All of my April 10th sales say "Processing: to be completed on Apr 11"

As far as I'm concerned, those sales have until midnight PT (eBay's base time zone) to clear and still meet eBay's stated deadline.

Everything from April 9th and earlier is already cleared.

The changes to the payments summary page are cosmetic. That specifically would not affect payouts or funds processing.

The last time I viewed the eBay help pages, it stated 2 days for processing funds. This change was put into effect last year and eBay's been meeting that timeframe. Lately they've been exceeding it. This is all very different from when I first signed up for MP and it took anywhere from 2-14 days for a payment to clear, depending on the buyer's payment method. With all the seller complaints, eBay has cut that timeframe down to practically nothing - in many cases fronting the money in advance of when it actually clears from the buyer's payment source to eBay's account.

Keep an eye on it, but right now I see nothing to worry about.

It states in the summary page, which I copied the link to above, if you change your payment day:

• Weekly payouts are initiated on Tuesdays and include any funds that have become Available for payout Monday through Sunday of the previous week
• Biweekly payouts are initiated every second Tuesday and include any funds that have become available for payout on Monday from the last two weeks
• Monthly payouts are initiated on the first Tuesday of every month, and include any funds that have become available for payout on Monday from the previous month

I too am on Weekly payments and both of the sales I had over the weekend have finished processing and will be in my payout tomorrow morning. The only one that is still processing is the sale I had this evening.

Why would adding more options to payouts have anything to do with how you payments move from pending to available?  I'm not sure I understand why one would have to do with the other?  Just askin.

Maybe you got unlucky and all the payments were sourced by American Express.  Those Pending payments can slow a bit due to AE's process.

I have not seen this history that you are referring to.  I've been on weekly payments since the beginning and I have not had any issues at all, except for once and it was a one day hiccup.  I've recently been trying out the biweekly option and that works quite well too.

Update:  Well, it looks like in the wee hours of the morning the rest of the weekend funds Processed through to Available.   This is a new pattern ...
