All of the things you could complain about and 35 cents is what's driving you over the edge?

You must have used up all your free listings for the month.

You only get 250 free a month and anything over that you have to pay.

Have a great day.

Try this

If you've reached your monthly selling limit, you can request a limit increase and eBay will consider it.

To request a limit increase:

  • In My eBay:
    1.
Go to My eBay Selling Overview.
    2. Scroll down and find the Monthly selling limits.
    3. Click the link Request a limit increase.

  • In Seller Hub:
    1. Go to the Overview tab.
    2. Scroll down and find the Monthly limits.
    3. Click the link Request to list more.

You have 409 Active "Buy It Now" listings....

Unless you have (at minimum) a "Basic" store subscription, you will be charged an insertion fee for every item listed or renewed that exceeds the 250 item monthly allotment.

Basic Math.......

If you do not do anything...you will be charged appx. 45 dollars for insertion fees over the next 30 day cycle.

It would be better to subscribe to a Basic store with 1,000 free monthly listings instead of 250.

I guess you started selling on Ebay without understanding the fees and how many listings you could have each month without having to pay insertion fees.

You are now in the state that many Ebay sellers were in the early years, when their number of listings, sell through rate and profits were too low to offset the listing fees on items which did not sell quickly.

The Ebay Store and its increased number of free listings made it possible for many sellers to have many items, including those which sell slowly to build profitable Ebay businesses.

I can see why you feel the insertion fee pain, you have items which are selling below the level that many sellers would think are worth any effort.

This would be a good time to step back, learn the fee structures and how stores work, and reconsider your listing criteria.

You are traveling on a path which has been traveled before and you need to modify your route.
