Error message when trying to pay for items at checkout

I have used paypal to make payments for years and have an active account set up. When I go to checkout now, none of my former methods of payment are available. When I look under my account, it shows paypal as an option. There is no place to choose this and when I attempt to add new debit, credit AND bank accounts it says error every time. I know the information is all correct but it says something went wrong! There is NO ONE to help with this and I need to make a payment or lose these items. THANK YOU

What EXACTLY does the error message say?
