How many of you Ebay sellers are going to fall into the new Ebay trap? I for one am not going to be a sheeple and will be moving on to another selling site. I guess I have out grown the new Ebay.

If you mean migrating into Managed Payments, I opted in during August, 2019. Nothing nefarious to report. Good luck.

I am a member of the herd. ebay works well as a selling site for me. I am not familiar with all, but some just would not work out well for me.
17+ months, and the "new" payment policy is working OK for me.
Cash flow is not an issue. Money generally just sat in PP for a while anyway.
Each seller will have to evaluate MP, and do what is best for them.

All the other selling sites will ask you for the same information.

Don't know what trap you're talking about, but Managed Payments works fine.
What is it you don't like about it?

I'm, with you...Just sold yesterday...says she paid, so I shipped & no payment in my acct. (nothing pending either) My order form won't even release how she paid...so what...now I have to be treated like a newbie (when PP held your $$ until item was received, after 11 yrs. of selling?
HOW does this benefit the seller????

No they won't.
But yes, the Paypal launched partner registration site currently limits to two bona fide comparable marketplaces (see bottom):

I'm gonna critique the first so please don't pull my flag - again!
You won't sell anything. Google ads for items get lost in a sea of them. They're too small and labor apart. They don't get that only a conjunction of ad dollars aimed at categories is the only answer. Search any category you like. They are nowhere to be found and in marketing denial believing that all their conceptually misplaced efforts can be Psychology Today marketed away. So, until they get wise, I suppose you gotta love eBay.

Or not. It might come down to character.

I have been in Managed Payments since October 2018.
In my experience, it takes 4 days from when the buyer pays to when the payment (less FVF) is credited to my checking account. My checking account is with a major bank. When I was using my federal credit union checking account, it took longer than 4 days.
I have a 1-day handling time, and I have specified daily payouts since I am a low volume seller. When the item is in Seller Hub > Orders > Awaiting shipment, I ship.
