Ebay account paying shipping from Paypal!!! I want it to stop!!!

How do I get my Ebay account to pay for shipping out of my checking account vs. Paypal? Everytime I do shipping it pulls the money from paypal.

I thought I fixed it, but I'm afraid it's draining my PP account.

You have a choice of paying shipping through Paypal or paying with pending funds held in your Managed Payment account.  There is no option to draw money out of a checking account. To switch from your Paypal to pending funds you need to select the pending funds option the next time you print a label.  You might have to scroll down the print label screen to see the checkbox.  And you might have to check that box a few times before your choice becomes the default.

Because no money goes into your PayPal account anymore you need to change default for "shipping labels" and "monthly statement" to Managed Payments.

Next time you print label (go to bottom of page) click on box to change to MP.   Your also need to change Monthly Statement (listing fees) to MP.

One would need to be careful about paying monthly fees out of pending payments.  You could have a slow sales week when the payment is due with little money in your pending payment account.  Perhaps better to use Paypal for monthly fees as you only need to transfer funds into Paypal once a month to cover fees.  I usually keep a reserve in Paypal and only need to transfer funds about once every few months, but I am a small seller.  If I was a larger seller I would transfer funds into Paypal whenever I got my Ebay statement.

You don't even need to transfer funds into PayPal as long as you have an alternate payment method (such as a bank account or a credit/debit card) attached to PayPal. You can just use those to pay.

I happen to be a seller who pays for my shipping from my checking account. Yes... it will pull the funds from your PayPal balance as long as you have one. I keep a zero balance and have my bank account set as my PayPal 'Preferred method' for paying while shopping online.

I pay everything by credit card and accumulate bonus points for every dollar spent, including postage, shipping, etc. 2% back adds up over a years time...:)

And the credit card separates all my expenditures by type, so I have a spreadsheet with purchases, payments, fees, utilities, shipping, phone, etc. already filled in and totaled for the year.

My credit card then autopays it's balance every month, from my savings account.
