I SCRACHED A 200 DOLLAR CARD AMD GAVE ONE DIGIT OUT AND THEY STILL STOLE THE CARD IDK HOW BUT NOT EVEN 4 ONE DIGIT.

Just who did you give that digit to? If it was a "seller" selling a car you found on another site, that was a scammer and thief. People come here many times a day with the same complaint. Sad to say, there is nothing we can do about it. You did call the number on the back of the gift card to report it? Don't expect too much however.

Why would you scratch a card and give someone any of the numbers? That is not how you redeem a gift card. You apply the full code at checkout when you pay for your item. You don't email or message codes. Please read eBay Gift Card terms and FAQS particularly how to pay or how to redeem.

eBay didnt scam you. You fell for a scam on another sight thinking you were getting a "deal"

This scam is so common that today I received and email from AAA on what to watch for and that no real company will force you to pay with a gift card.

Still amazes me that everyday someone posts about it. Makes you wonder how many dont post that they were the victim of a scam.

How did this person know you had a gift card at all?

The only reason for anyone to ask for any gift card digits at all is that that person asking expects you to reveal more than you intend. And the person asking expects to be able to use the numbers to spend the money on the card, which would seem to be the case here.
