I sell an item in US$ currency. EMP transfers EUR to my bank account with usual unfavourable conversion. If refund is needed, does it takes the same amount of EUR from my bank as initially or another conversion happens?

I have no idea, but I can't see how this would not be a new conversion.

Well refund needs to be in US$ again. So does initial payment gets reversed or EUR are taken from your account and converted (second conversion, double loss in conversion)?

I'm not sure if this answers your question but ....If refunded within 24 hours (might be same day, I can't recall) then it is the same amount.......if refunded after that time period, the refund is at that day's exchange rate.

Terrible. Refund is usually initiated after 20 days. In practice this means for seller possibly loosing the Sold Item, Payment, Advertising/Promotional Fee, Shipping costs plus now with EMP additionally double conversion rate fee :(.
