Couldnt verify card please try another

So I'm trying to input a Visa gift card as a payment and it just absolutely will not work. I've also tried the PayPal option and using the gift card on that and it still won't take it. Amazon accepts it perfectly fine and the card is activated. I have 0 clue what is happening.

From other posts here, these are no longer accepted by Ebay nor Paypal.   Buy something in a physical store. You can call the number on the back of the card too.
