Changing Payout Schedule but when does it take affect?

Thinking about changing my payout schedule from once a week to either every two weeks or once a month. Has anyone done this and can tell me when does it take affect.

For example today is Tuesday and the weekly payout was sent to my associated bank.

It looks like the once monthly is set to the 1st Tuesday of the month but not sure if I change it now will I continue to get weekly payouts until the 1st monthly would payout or does it hold the funds until the next scheduled monthly payout day?

I've read the ebay payout page and it's not really clear to me.

If you change to the monthly payout, your payments will stop until that first Tuesday or next month.

As far as I know, it'll kick in as soon as you change it.
