Change in Shipping Practice?

Now that Ebay has went to managed payments, have they changed the way they charge selling fees that are applied to shipping?  For example, it used to be that if a customer paid $10 for shipping, I could purchase the shipping label for $9, which "saved" me $1.  Ebay would charge me a final value fee of 10% on the $10 shipping, which is $1.  Shipping costs and final fees would therefore break even.  Now, it has changed, as the customer is paying $10, I am being charged $10, but there is still a $1 final value fee.  Does anyone have an explanation?

I'm thinking that the shipping calculator in your listings should be charging the buyer the retail cost for postage. You should still be able to buy your label at the discounted price.

Hopefully, someone will come along with the correct answer.  I always list with free shipping.

I list with Calculated Shipping.  My shipping preferences are to charge the buyer the retail cost, so when ebay charges me the discounted price, the difference is my handling charge.

That has not changed when I opted into MP back in October 2018.

I would suggest you double check your Shipping Preferences to make sure you are charging the retail price to your buyers.
