Change bids and offers payment method?

I made an offer on an item this morning (which was accepted, yay!) , and for the first time ever, I was asked to select a payment method for if the bid was accepted. 

I did so, and thought I'd set it to my PayPal credit account, but I hadn't, I'd set it to be my bank account. 

I've searched high and low, and can't find any way of changing it, does anyone know how to?

I'm sorry your question was overlooked.

I guess by now you found out after you submitted the payment you are done. It can't  be changed after you submit the payment. If the seller has a mind to they could cancel the transaction and the payment will be credited back to the source.

That's all that can be done after the payment is sent.

On the other hand It's a great idea payments can't  be interrupted or stopped because this way sellers know they can safely ship before the $ reaches their pocket, that buyers can't  stop the pay flow.

PayPal credit is not an option for this new program.  Either is PayPal Pay in 4, spendable funds, ApplePay, GooglePay,  etc.  and the ability to combine multiple items from the same seller is removed.

With a name like yours it's not surprising reading your little rant.  Just because someone that was trying to be helpful, wasn't doesn't mean Mr. Perfect pants 007 needs to add his 2 cents.. Get a grip GEEZ!

Yes which doesn't surprise me at all, just about everything ebay does helps them but not the seller or buyer.  What was once a great thing for buyers to be able to buy something & wait a couple days to make a payment or use pay in 4 is gone. Like most of there business.

I have this same question. I am NOT asking about how to change a previously paid transaction. What I am asking is how to be prompted for payment method EVERY SINGLE TIME I make a purchase on EBay. I was forced to make a choice on a offer/purchase made yesterday for my wife using her CC via PayPal. I do not want to use that again for my own purchases. I can find no way to change this in EBay and that sucks. What I have had to do was go into PayPal and remove it from the auto-payments section of the settings for my PayPal account. I am not sure what EBay will do with that. But at least it will stop any more items from being auto-paid this way. SHEESH!
