Cannot redeem Synchrony Ebay Mastercard points? Synchrony & Ebay just defer to each other.

As you can see below, Synchrony's website shows 23,000 points, and eBay's shows 0. I have tried to resolve this through each of their customer service channels but they each just defer me to speak to the other. I have tried to get this resolved for nearly 6 months, but cannot find a solution through a sea of people going through the same thing online. Any advice from someone who's been able to get this fixed?

Silly question... but did you begin shopping by pressing the 'Shop Now' button on the Synchrony page?

I have tried it from mobile, and desktop through the Shop Now button and by just going to the ebay website and used the ebay mastercard as a the applied payment type.

I have the card, have never had this issue (thank god). Have you used this card with different accounts before?...

i have, i suspect maybe that has something to do with it. i have a separate ebay account but used it once many months ago. it isnt on the account anymore.

The credit card has some details about rewards points in their policy.

If I recall correctly, it talks about points expiring after 12 months of inactivity, and the points are revoked or expire if the associated ebay account is closed.

Of course the points havent expired, but my point is, it sounds like the points are ACCOUNT specific. (If your ebay account closes, the points disappear? Thats bogus). So... that's why separate accounts being used MAY lead to issues?

That is one reason I have not started a separate buying account. I have a ridiculous number of points on that card (and don't want to risk the points by using different accounts), i have so many because everything I sell, I purchase on EBay with that card and then resell. Worst part is, coins are inelligble to be purchased with those points. So i have to buy other items with my points, can't use them to buy the items I resell. So I struggle to find things to buy because I don't need much 🤣 frustrating.

I would look into multiple account issue though.

so after all this time ive finally gotten it closed.. after waiting a few days.. unlinked and readded my card.. boom nothing lol

I don't have an ebay CC.   Is buying on ebay the only way to use those points?

I can redeem my points for credit on my  CC account... every 10,000  points shaves off 100 bucks.

I have had an ebay Mastercard since probably January 2023 and never have received points   How do I get my points?
