I’m trying to move to: eBay to manage your payments
I’m now trying to Sync ebay to my Payoneer account
I have 4 steps to complete to do this
Step 1: Connect a Payoneer account “DONE”
Step 2: Sync your profiles “DONE”
Step 3: Add a credit or debit card: this is where my problem starts.
ebay says:
We need a card on file in case you have outstanding amounts owed to eBay and your funds are insufficient. “Cool”
The credit card you add for selling costs should match your payout currency (which is USD) to avoid the possibility of additional fees. “I don’t have a USD credit card”
So I enter card details then the massage says
We don't support this card. Please use a different one.
I currently use a NZ issued credit card to pay my ebay fees which are in USD and it’s the same card that I’ve used for the last 20 years to pay ebay fees.
Please help so I can progress to
Step 4: Submit request
Here's some back ground to help you help me.
I live in New Zealand and sell mostly on ebay.uk and accept paypal which will stop on 15th September 2021
I’ve been a member on ebay.com for over 20 years
I currently use a NZ issued credit card to pay my ebay fees which are in USD
I only have one credit card and I don’t have a US credit card.

You might want to ask on the UK site. US site sellers dont have Payoneer usually and may not be as much help for Payoneer issues.

Yes you’re right, ebay support is no help what's so ever, to date i've emailed customer support numerous times with not one response. Please update me on your progress. Quick question what site is your account on? My account is on ebay.com however i chose to sell my items on ebay.uk and live in New Zealand.

I have the same issue - I'm living in Turkey, opened an eBay UK account but couldn't proceed with adding a credit card for selling fees. I contacted eBay several times however they don't provide a clear answer yet. If anyone fixes this issue, please let us know here.

Did you find any help on the UK site?

Well i’ve managed to figure out all by myself without any ebay help what so ever. I think it requires a second credit card ie not the same one you currently use to pay your fees with; I think this is for a second option to pay your fee bill in case the first one is declined.
Is it greed or just no risk factor or both?
Because when you make a sale on ebay now they are straight in there like robbers dogs taking all their fee money first (ie: a fee for this and a fee for that; and that; and that as well) and then only once all their boxes are tick (usually in 2 days) we finally get our reward for the sale.
We the sellers are now classed as The Bottom Feeders.
ebay has forgotten; that without sellers, ebay is nothing, absolutely nothing at all and has zero value what so ever to anybody.
Why ebay would ever want a second credit card we will never know because they won’t even reply to a simple question when asked.
Anyway what I had to do was to ask another family member nicely if I could use their credit card.
Thank God! I didn’t have to get another credit card just so I could sell stamps on ebay.
Please note: My account is on ebay.com however i chose to sell my items on ebay.uk and live in Middle Earth.

Same issue from Korea. I'm trying to register myself as a seller and I've tried more than 3 different cards,
none of them worked. With poor customer service literally providing no efficiently reachable method.

The only thing I can suggest is to try someone else credit card. And once it accepts that card you should be able to change it to your new one.
The trouble with dealing with “Big Brother ebay” is it will always be one step forward and TWO steps back.
Good Luck!!
