I recently opened a business checking account and want to replace my personal checking as my form for payouts. When I enter information it takes me all the way through the process, confirming everything, then comes up with a notice that says "We ran into a problem. Please try again later."
I have tried on desktop and mobile, and I have tried entering info manually as well as signing into my bank.
Does anyone have any tips? Customer service was utterly unhelpful.

Hi @dp-sportscards ,
Below is a link to the Help Pages on updating your banking information ... the last section may hold some answers since you stated your new account is a "business checking" account. Have you tried changing your eBay account to a "business" account?
You may wind up having to speak directly to the "Payments" group within eBay opposed to a regular phone rep.

My bank was one of the banks you can select through the eBay add checking account process. I also ran into the "We ran into a problem. Please try again later.". both when picking and adding the bank and when trying the alternative of directly adding the routing and account information.
I have dealt (rather not dealt) with eBay support in the past. My solution was to try several times a day for over two weeks. By what seemed like a miracle, one day the process completed, and the payment system has worked flawlessly ever since. Thank you, eBay, for letting me know "We ran into a problem. Please try again later." - for those in doubt - that last statement is my dry sense of humor.

Yes, I changed my account to a business account yesterday, prior to updating the bank info. Changing my account went flawlessly, but now I have a business account making deposits in my personal account.
How would I talk specifically to someone on the payments team?

Well, that's encouraging (not). I tried 12 times in the last 24 hours, including in the middle of the night -- just in case! Guess I'll keep at it.

"We ran into a problem. Please try again later."
That message means the eBay software recognized a specific problem. Do you know how easy it would be for the eBay app to state a specific reason the process failed? If you don't the answer is VERY EASY.
Having a clue what the real problem is would definitely help sellers. Frustrating eBay doesn't realize helping sellers IS helping themselves.
