Has anybody else received this message "Something went wrong. Please try again later." when trying to confirm their personal info for managed payments? I have to sign up for managed payments in two of my account and that's the message I get every single time. I've tried more times than I can count on multiple days.
I've tried different browsers, my phone, my desktop computer, turning off my ad blockers, changing the info slightly but nothing works. I guess I'll have to contact ebay directly, but wondered if maybe there was something else to try that I'm not thinking about.

I have the same problem. Called Ebay and they were supposed to call back. They didn't. I just want a work around so I know what info to put in so I can bypass that link. Not happy about this. Paypal worked great for me.

Same. I text chatted with eBay customer service. They said they are aware of the issue. So frustrating starting a new managed payment system and already failing.

I am experiencing the exact same issue. Whenever I try to register for managed payments and/or edit my personal info, I'm given the error "Something went wrong. Please try again later."
I've talked to eBay customer support twice and was told the technical team would call me back but they haven't.
Has anyone been able to resolve this? My account is going to become unusable. Such a pain that managed payments is getting pushed while still full of technical issues.

If you are having trouble signing up for Managed Payments, there are some good troubleshooting tips to be found in this thread:

Common issues involve making sure your eBay account type matches your checking account type (personal account vs. business account), making sure your name is spelled exactly the same on both accounts including any middle name or initial, and making sure you are using the correct routing number for your checking account. I believe that you may need to use a street address rather than a P O Box as well.

Same exact problem as you.
I've talked to 6? or 7? customer service reps now. Thursday morning I was told a different rep had already put in a request for the technical team to review my information, since everything is correct and matching, and that it would all be resolved within 72 hours - likely much sooner!
BUT...no, still waiting. Better then 50/50 chance I'll be back talking to someone when nothing is fixed by tomorrow morning.

Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately, this issue occurs before anything about a bank account is involved. The error message shows up when you initially try to register for managed payments. I have tried every variation of my first name and middle name and every variation of my address, but to no success. No PO box on my end either. Part of the issue is that the user can't update Personal Info under "My Account" as well, which is rather strange.

I've only talked to a couple so far, but that has been my same experience with customer support. First one put in a technical support ticket. Second one saw it and believe she said she would try escalating it, but I haven't heard anything yet. Going to call again on Monday if I hear nothing and keep repeating the process, I guess. Stressful given that my assigned deadline to sign up is Monday...so my account will have interrupted service.

Part of the issue is that the user can't update Personal Info under "My Account"
The information in your Personal Info must agree with your checking account. Why are you unable to change the Personal info on eBay?
It is much easier to change Personal Info on eBay than to change the info on a checking account, unless you are creating a new checking account (which is an option, I suppose).

Yep, I did. I have a red alert in my selling overview that says "Update your account details by Jan 25, 2021 to continue creating new listings." Going to update details brings me to the Managed Payments registration, which fails.

That's part of the problem - it's a glitch on eBay's side. Both attempting to register for Managed Payments and/or updating my Personal Info gives the "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later." error. My information definitely won't end up matching my checking account because my original registration address under Personal Info is outdated. I had forgotten that it existed until now (only ever updated my shipping address and the registration address isn't even in the app), but people mentioned how it needs to be accurate for Managed Payments and that's when I found out that it's broken. On top of that, I'm given the option to "verify" my email under Personal Info, which I verified years ago. When I do try to "verify" it again, I get the same "Sorry, something went wrong..." error. Pretty irritating, especially since I'm about to be locked out of creating new listings on the 25th unless eBay fixes these glitches.

Just to rule out possible issues on your end, if you have not already done so, it might be worth trying to change your Personal Info using a different browser, or a different device. Make sure you are not using a VPN or a custom firewall. Try a new up to date browser with no extensions or add-ons. Try using a browser on your phone when not connected to your usual wifi; request the page in desktop mode, and then try to change your registered address.

Here's how I resolved this issue. I contacted eBay using the chat option and they responded quickly. I received an email reply to the chat. I then replied to the email and continued until resolved. I was then approved after a week. While I am still not officially transitioned into MP, I am officially approved and verified. In the meantime I continue to sell and the money continues to flow into my PP account. Basically nothing changed for me. I was told it may still take another month until I am completely in MP. As long as my sales aren't affected, and they aren't as I'm selling quite nicely, I am fine with things as is. Best of luck to you....

Tried these approaches as well (tried 3 different browsers on my laptop and a browser on my phone while on data), but again to no success. I've also tried the app, but the registration address doesn't appear at all in the app as far as I can tell. It's almost certainly on eBay's end. The only potential resolutions I've really heard for this problem, based on lamber9347's response and another individual I had talked to who had a different but similar issue, is to keep contacting eBay support until they resolve it. It sounds like it can take a rather long time to get them to resolve it though.

I SIGNED UP WITH A NEW ACCOUNT WITH MY BANK AND NOW IM NOT SHOWING ANY PAYMENTS GOING INTO MY ACCOUNT I SOLD 2 ITEMS SINCE I DID THIS AND I DON'T SEE AND MONEY GOING INTO MY ACCOUNT ????
