Can someone explain if I'm getting double charged on MP?

Hi All!
I've been a big MP cheerleader here the past few months but I always left the caveat that I might be here next week crying because MP did me in. Well it didn't do me in but after 2 hours on the phone with ebay "help" I did not get anywhere. So here goes my faithful eBay Community!

Feb 23rd I get a payout for $224.14. I get payouts weekly and I download each payout to a Microsoft Access Spreadsheet and the net amount totaled $224.14.

The following amounts are included:

Ad Fee: $13.86

Ad Fee: $10.40

Ad Fee: $2.48

Shipping: $37.92

Shipping: $19.09

Shipping: $12.33

On March 16th I get a payout for $45.95. Buried in that payout (AND it shows up in my All Transactions) for March 13th is a Transfer from my bank for $43.41. So ebay took money from my checking to pay a shortage from my account. OK. That's fine. IF I owe it.

Keep in mind that transaction is DATED March 13th. All those numbers above from the Feb 23rd payout...they are in the March 13th transfer from my bank...along with a whole bunch of other Ad Fees and Shipping Label fees...but everything that I have checked (so far) has shown up in a previous payout.

Can anyone explain what is happening?

The thing is, the March 13 transfer from my bank...I can't do a download of that report to an Excel spreadsheet so I can play with the numbers.

Can I post screen captures of my payouts? I have no problem sharing my money info as long as its not against ebay policy.

Look to see if some UPS or FedEx label fees showed up in your expenses. I recently had a similar issue and found out that Ebay is now charging the day they get the charges from UPS/Fedex instead of on your next invoice. My account was negative because my payout went on Tuesday and then right after those shipping charges showed up. Ebay said it was going to debit that amount from my checking account. This **bleep** did not happen when I was in charge of when I withdrew from my PP account.

Yeah...I know...I track my UPS labels weekly on my payout. And I'm tracking that. In fact that is exactly what it is showing. The three UPS charges on the payout on Feb 23rd and then that convoluted "money owed" on Mar 13th.

I got that March 13th money owed into a spreadsheet and I have no idea how they came up with any sort of a financial report out of that.

The nice guy rep (for the first hour and a half) and the nice lady ebay rep (last half hour) from India assured me that I wasn't being billed twice. I just don't have a rosy feeling yet...

A friend of mine just went through about the same thing. He spent several hours with different Ebay reps.....charged his account and put it back in then took it out again the same day. Made no sense. Since he pays his invoices with a credit card he put a reverse (or whatever it is called) on the payment. Ebay has said nothing about it. They know they were wrong. I think they have a lot of glitches in the MP system....

I suggest paper backup for each sale: sale price + added ship - ( fees + ship cost ) = net.

I haven't gone quite to a paper extreme but I custom built an Access Database to track all of my ebay sales. I do a recon every week and checkmark all my sales and correct my UPS charges then. It works quite well. I can actually run reports that tell me what HASN'T been reconned. I actually caught this opposite of that...I started going through the Transfer transaction list and saw that everything had already been reconned. I had another one a few weeks ago. I'm going through this one line by line and going to match every line up to a previous statement if I can. Then go through that other one...THEN make a YouTube video if I have to or post my spreadsheets here.

I filed Notice of Arbitration twice (first time I didn't send certified) to the Draper UT address. Next step is to send to Midvale UT c/o CT Corporation System (whoever that is).

OK eBay Community...

I've been a big cheerleader for ebay for MP. But after what I just did, I'm not sure I want to sell anymore.

I took that transfer from my bank dated March 13th and got it into a spreadsheet. I then reconned that against my previous payouts and every single fee that was listed in there was found in four different ebay payouts.

The total of these funds were $395.24.

I now have no doubt that I was double charged. This amount is due back into my account ebay.

I have another ebay "transfer" that you did a few weeks ago. I'm going to recon that.

Good Lord...I hope I am misunderstanding this....

BTW...I just put my store in vacation mode until the end of the month. I'm done selling until I get this figured out. If I'm going to pay ebay to take my stuff, I'll recycle the stuff and at least get money that route.

Nada. Mine is over pre-MP hiding behind the FedEx-Ebay relationship fraud - cooking the shipping label parameters. A 1.4 pound empty cigar box shipment purportedly weighing 54 pounds... a 9" x 8" x 4" box actually downsized to 9" x 7" x 4" by FedEx.

eBay just changed the weight without thinking to do a proper fraud job.

I have called Ebay multiple times for the same issue!! There is DEFINITELY a racket going on. Ebay tells me that FedEx denies 98% of their "disputes". I have not heard back on any of them. Last time I called and got a really good agent that had been with Ebay for a long time. She just issued me refunds for the different on 2 of the items. She obviously knew what was going on there. Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit on this one....slam dunk if they have to show their records. It would get settled before Discovery.

I could not find that agent. All mine followed the script; though, you can tell they don't like it.

Well help desk is no help. No offense to ebay help desk but I've talked to three reps now and they have all had a strong accent from the country on India....and they cannot grasp what is happening here....

So here it is. On Mar 16th on my Payout I had $43.41 taken out of checking. The TOTAL taken out between of MP and checking was $395.24. That is what is owed me. The following spreadsheet has all the info. I only left the last 4 digits of the payout IDs for security reasons. The left column is the fee description. Next is the Payout ID and the Charge ID that all of the $395.24 fell under. The next column is the 4 Payout IDs where I already had these fees accounted for in previous payouts...all the way back to when I started back on ebay. The last two columns are the shipping and the ad fees broken out in separate columns.

Even the invoice charge for $21.95 shows up in my All Transactions as a charge.

ANYONE...ANYONE AT ALL....does this look right to you???
