Can i still bill my shipping labels to PAYPAL or did eBay change that too?

I used to be able to skip down the shipping label page to click on Paypal for payment instead of eBay. Today, did the same thing and that option was missing

Yes, you can.

When you print the label, right at the bottom is a spot to choose how to pay for your label.

You can choose PayPal or you can choose to pay it out of available funds.

Once you change the option, it will "stick" for future labels until you change it again.

Really??? I don't have anything in queue to practice on, but I always use PayPal (not Pending funds) for my labels. Hmmm...

LOL

You had nothing in queue to practice on and I have never used Fedex or UPS in my life!

"Once you change the option, it will "stick" for future labels until you change it again. "

Not necessarily the case, I noticed yesterday I had 3 shipping labels charged through

PayPal, I had been having them all taken from pending pay out. I think eBay algerithems

caught on to me waiting for my pay out to send before I would buy labels causing my account

to go negative until the "processing" funds were available. I do that mostly on Thursdays because

The next payout won't hit my bank account until the next Tuesday. They can deduct the shipping

from their forever "processing"

amount.

Just checked 3 accounts.

Still have the ability to switch from MP to PP for labels, but something strange pops up when doing that.

It says "Set up Payments"  when the switch is made. That remains if going back to MP.    Backing out of the page reverts back to "purchase" instead of the "Set up Payments"

Did not attempt to see what happens with the "Set up Payments". Went back to my MP option.

You are correct.

My statement assumed that the seller actually had available funds from which to pay for the labels.

If you have no available funds, the option to pay with available funds is not enabled.

I do not think eBay lends you money for labels.

FedEx and UPS are not billed by eBay until AFTER the shipment has been received by the carrier. At that point eBay will bill you, depending on when you entered Managed Payments eBay will take the money from pending funds, your bank or your backup funding method OR it will go on your monthly invoice (which will be going away over the next few weeks).

USPS is charged immediately because the exact charge is known when you print the label while the others are billed to eBay at a later date.

So, not "crazy", actually very logical!

My available funds go from $0.00 to a negative amount when I purchase a label.

I was "playing" around with those screens and buttons this morning.  I usually pay with Pay Pal, so that is my default.  I changed it to  "Your pending payouts" and the "Set up Payments" button appeared just as your screenshot shows.   I clicked "Set up Payments" and that purchased the label using my available funds.

As I mentioned the selector pop up only appears if you  are shipping USPS

I ship UPS and Fedex go directly to eBay on your monthly statement.

Once I am switched to MP I plan on using PayPal for all my USPS labels.  Along with my PP account is a large credit line from which to draw so I would hope if I depleted my $1,200 cushion in PayPal that they would just pay it from my credit line.  Time will tell but I never let my PayPal account drop below a certain amount thus I won't find out.

@my_boston_baked_beans

That explains why I haven't had this issue. I ship via USPS exclusively. I'm assuming the debit to my bank account will still work through PayPal. (I keep a zero PayPal balance.) Now, if I only had another sale to 'stress-test'. LOL
