Buyer payment reminder

I've never been on the buyer end needing a payment reminder. I sold an item almost 4 days ago and ebay sent a message that they'll remind the buyer to pay. Anyone know how often or how many reminders are sent in the 4 days after accepting an offer? I can message the buyer but don't want to spam them if they're already receiving reminders. 

In case they don't pay I'll cancel with non payment reason. How do I report the buyer?

If you cancel for non-payment on day 5, the buyer gets a strike, so no need to report. Don't forget to add the non-paying person to your block list. There is no need to open a line of communication by sending a message, they know they bought something and if not paid in 4 days, more than likely they never intended to pay in the first place.
