So I get an email stating that ebay needed a picture of my ID front and back along with top portion of my bank statement . OH and by the way were going to restrict your payout's until we drag this out to verify...Mind you NO time frame on any payout...WELL it's 8/3 and guess what? NO PAYOUT in sight...I'm so done with ebay! This is so wrong in so many ways...First they should give you a notice that they need the info and if you don't comply THEN restrict the payouts...BUT NO they jump the gun and restrict you without any warning! I ask how mnay people/businesses can operate without and funds coming in to cover expense? Evidently ebay could care less as they have proven in the past about throwing sellers under the bus! I've been on ebay selling since 2006 with the up's and downs, doing the best that I can..Now we have COVID along with everything else , makes it not good ...ALL I get is were sorry and your have a right to be mad...LOL I feel this is my fault for having to much faith in one company as I have 1 ebay account and that's it..I've since been approved on WAL Mart .com and Amazon..I'm thinking about a tee shirt line on my experience with ebay on etsy...Yes this has put me in a financial bind as going into the 3rd week with no payout, yet ebay still taking their cut and I'm still sending product out the door...Ebay has proven to me what I knew all along that MANAGED PAYMENTS IS A FAILURE!

Sorry this is happening to yet another seller.

You can have eBay call you by going to the "contact us" page. Ask for a payments specialist, but to be honest, their reps are not that helpful.

Been on the phone with "Team Leaders" with NO LUCK...All say the same thing...We understand that your mad...I have to call the Indian call center and beg for a Team Leader wit a 1 hour wait time..Today I insisted that the team leader reached out to their boss as "Team Leader" is as far as I can go....I so over ebay...Look they have all the info that they ask for as I jumped thru the bull **bleep** hoop when I was forced into this mess..Yet less than 9 months here we are...NEVER had this issue with PAYPAL!

All payment processing systems make interest from funds in their possession. It is one of the ways they make money. Which of course is fine, unless of course they purposefully set up roadblocks for people to get their funds so they can make more money. PayPal did the same thing and was sued for it.

I agree that if you were never asked before that ebay should give you a warning on what will happen if you don't supply the information... but even though they pounced on you, you now have the same option as before if they had given you a warning.

I'm assuming that you already verified your bank for managed payments so why is ebay asking for your DL and bank statement? Or is this request for managed payments?

Did you verify your banking information already for Managed Payments?

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AND YES EBAY COULD CARELESS AND ITS BULL**bleep** I AM ABOUT TO LOSE A LOT OVER THIS IT IS SO WRONG IN SO MANY WAYS I KNOW IN MY 12 YEARS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BEING IN EMPLOYMENT THAT THIS IS NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES. EBAY HAS $700 OF MY MONEY AND STILL COULD CARELESS THAT WE ARE HURTING NOW BECAUSE THEY CANT GET THEIR **bleep** TOGETHER. COME ON EBAY YALL ARE MAKING BILLIONS OF DOLLARS EVERYDAY AND CANT PAY US OUR MESSILY HUNDRED IT IS SO MESSED UP IN SO MANY WAYS. I NEED MY MONEY YALL ARE BASICALLY STEALING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY.
