Adding your Bank Account to EBay

Hi, I was wondering about adding your Bank account, is it safe and has anyone gotten any money taken that was not suppose to be taken. Because I have been reading alot about eBay and funds being taken , being charged extra.So any information  like alternatives to  account adding or experience with adding your account would be helpful for me to make my final decision.......

Your checking account is to receive payouts.

You have to attach a payment method for seller fees that don't  come from your payout, and I recommend attaching a credit card for those fees.

Some people say funds were "not supposed to be taken" when they don't understand eBay policies. They don't understand what happens if a buyer files a not as described return request, or if the buyer files a payment dispute plus other scenarios.

I've never experienced eBay taking funds that were "not supposed to be taken" - I've only been billed for services and fees in accordance with eBay policy.

I have seen rare instances where someone was double billed for something, but eBay CS reversed the duplicate charge for them.
