Action required: update your bank information

Iv been a seller for months now with plenty of successful payments but ebay sent me a message asking to "update your bank info, We couldn't verify the bank account information you provided."

When I go to the selling page I can see the banner asking. I find this odd seeing as I didn't change anything and have successfully been receiving payments. If fact I just got one sent today.

Is this normal?

Who knows if it's the new normal or not. I've not heard of it, but... it could be happening. I'd update my banking information. Good luck.

I had to give a first page of my bank statement...and had to make sure the bank logo was on the page.

My bank made a copy for me for free...and I just email the photo of it to eBay.

Your full name should match the banking information and should be in the state you live in and also the address should match. And other people on the information can cause a problem.

Your account is rather new...takes a number of months selling before eBay asks for information.

I notice the 'attribution' ....I would delete that.

It is something that eBay randomly does this for security reasons.
