Account Restrictions

eBay user since 2007. Started selling some stuff and got the funds on hold for a few weeks. Few weeks goes by and account is restricted. No communication from eBay other than you’re account is good.  Never received an email saying they need more info. Just  we’ll lift the restriction in 24-72 hours. This has been going on for weeks and they have a lot of money on hold.  I can never get transferred to anyone else other than the customer service people. What was everyone’s resolution to this?

My suggestion is to reach out to the qualified  C/S through a message on the eBay facebook page. You'll set up two-way (email) communication with a Rep who has the training and resources to actually offer service. Good luck.

You haven't sold anything in awhile and you start out selling expensive items.

You'll be treated as a new seller and they can hold the funds for 30 days.

And after 30 days of selling items and no response?

Well, I can't tell if your first sale was August 5th or August 10th, since I don't know how many of the Allen-Bradley Module you had for sale. But... your funds could be on Hold for 30 days. Seems like you'd be 'approved' by now, though. 🤔
