A few things I like about MP!

Okay, there is a lot of negativity surrounding MP from a handful of sellers, so here are a few things that I like, after around 10 days of participation in the program:

- partial refunds for things like combined shipping are a snap - so much easier than going into PayPal, hunting and pecking for the right order to refund

- I like that I can pay for s/h out of pending funds or not-yet-disbursed funds!

- nice that I can get a payout once a week, rather than daily - much easier to keep track of eBay funds, which I move to a sub-account after receipt

A few things I like about MP!

jonavanbod_0:

I've been on since August 25th, and like the weekly payouts on Tuesdays.  It has worked out well for me, as well.

Thank you for putting out something positive.

Best to all of us,

Grandma

A few things I like about MP!

I have been on it since August 25th.  My weekly payouts have been working fine.

I like that we now get back ALL of our sellers fees when we issue a full refund if the sale is canceled for some reason OR when we issue a refund.

I also like that my TRS+ discount now applies to the TOTAL fees that are being charged.

I like that all my fees are paid upfront so I don't get a big bill at the end of the month.  I lose the cash back charging it to my credit card, but it's kind of nice knowing that it's all taken care of and done with before I even receive my funds.

Your reasons for the goodness of the program are not valid.  Put the item number in PayPal and up pops the sale and refund as much or little as you wish.  Taking monies out of your account for shipping today's packages from today's sales is just bad business.  I don't think you understand that today's shipping sale will not hit your bank for 4-7 days.  The record keeping is a joke.  I have 20K feedback with this small company on eBay.  My previous company has by now close to 200K feedback.  Been doing this for 20 years on this poorly run platform and working everyday to get off of it.

Are you aware that we can very clearly see that your eBay account is less than 24 hours old, thus rendering your positive experiences impossible??

Who sent you? Who do you work for?

Yo, you've never listed or sold anything either and you're tearing up these boards like crazy. Do you get paid per fake positive comment or how does this work exactly?

@powell-memorabilia   Your application to the MP Cheering Squad has been accepted ... you can pick up your saddle shoes and pom-poms on Tuesday, which is the next Weekly MP Payout.  There will be a minor FEE for the gear but that will come out of your Pending funds unless there is not enough to cover the costs if that is the case then your Automatic Payment source will be tapped into for the payment.

One correction for your post, " ... negativity surrounding MP from a handful of sellers, ..."  "handful of sellers" needs to be changed to "the vast majority of Sellers" for it to be more accurate.

@popblox

🤣

You must not be aware that there were log-in issues from Thursday evening, September 17, to Friday evening, September 18, during which time some members could post only with new member ids.

The person you just chose to insult is one of those discussion-board participants who had to create a new member id in order to post.

S/he also happens to be a Community Mentor with his/her usual member id, with thousands of transactions, posts, solutions, or whatever other measure you'd like to use to judge whether his/her experiences are worthy.

I'd suggest you make sure you know who you're insulting in order to save further embarrassment.

But thanks for posting. It gave me a good laugh this evening! 😂

LOL!  I have to agree with @pburn on this one ... the member you are responding to happens to possess one of the highest Solutions counts here on The Community, but sadly, due to a recent Khoros programming glitch they (cleverly) created a new ID in order to log on and lend their support ...

🤪

Honestly, I stand behind my insults comments lol. My suspicions warranted a query since none of those underlying factors involving the OP's true identity were foreseeable under the circumstances - they could've easily included a tag with their original ID, seeing how someone with all that experience would expect others to be confused by such a random post by a 0 feedback user. I'd like to add that only 50% of this conspiracy has been disproven! What of the OP?

I regret nothing! 💃💃💃💃

I don't know the OP, but neither do you. Members are allowed to have multiple accounts--some people create multiple selling accounts to segregate inventory; some people create multiple buying accounts to keep some purchases more private; some people create accounts strictly used for posting and neither buy nor sell with that account.

You have no idea where the OP falls in that range of account options.

I see you've been registered with the community using this id for three years; however, you've only posted 75 comments with 73 "helpful" votes (a negative ratio). The OP, while having been registered for only 3+ months, has posted 121 comments, garnering 141 "helpful" votes (a positive ratio). Judging from those numbers, I'd say the OP is about twice as experienced on the discussion boards as you are, and his/her comments seem to be better received.

Or maybe you also post with another id?

Oh, and you might want to issue an apology to at least @comicstwo. I think the OP deserves one, as well.

There are a lot of posters that don't use their selling account ID.  This is my non-business buying ID.  I've bought a couple of items - and certainly not sold under this ID.  I used to not have separate ID's, but got the idea from reading these boards!

You are more than welcome to disagree - different opinions are great.
You might think that logging into PayPal, finding an order, then refunding is simple.  I agree, it isn't complicated.  However, going through eBay is simpler and faster.  I can even choose "shipping discount" for the partial refund driver.  I like it!

I'm not worried about shipping and handling costs coming out of current sales.  My margin and accrued profits are such that I can float this small hit.

I'm happy for you that you have a lot of feedback ratings. That count doesn't provide you a monopoly on reason or valid ideas.
