Is my customer getting Automatic Shipping Notifications (PRINTFUL)?

I sold my first sweatshirt on eBay using Printful (Print on Demand) for fulfilment. Is my customer being updated automatically on the 'status' of his/her order? I have integrated Printful with eBay. How can I tell if my customer is getting updates e.g. when the order is shipped, tracking, etc.
