storage?

so I found a listing of a car I liked on facebook so I messaged the seller and he told me he was just advertising it and he gave me the email to the owner. I mssged her and she replied back telling me that the car was stored in an ebay storage facility, and that she would send me the information on how to purchase it. apparently I have to buy ebay gift cards and then call and give the numbers on the cards. that doesn't seem  right and ive been looking at some questions online abt it and a lot of ppl say that its a scam. what does everybody think abt this??

It's an old (and rather tired) SCAM. Facebook listings have no connection with eBay. Report the ad on facebook.

It's an old scam.

Ebay doesn't store or ship vehicles.

This is a scam.  Don't persue this or you will loose your money. If you do this and give the scammer the numbers off of the gift cards the money value on them will be gone. You cannot get your money back. It is actually an old scam tat has been around for years.

thank you guys for replying I didn't know abt this but it seemed odd that I had to pay thru gift cards??? so I immediately started looking for answers on google and saw that many ppl said it was a scam

This SCAM has  been going on for at Least 2 Decade's
