Re: improper decision

Purchased a auto  distributor from seller advertised as rebuilt witch was a lie, when I tried contacting them was told they were out of town for 5 days ,then got a message  there was a 30.00 dollar dispute witch was not true and that I didn't get it not so. I did get it and it is next thing to junk still have it to prove that. Then was told by paypal I didn't give enough information on item, explaning it was junk I though was enough. So they sided with dishonest seller and false information.

Re: improper decision

Guess what is negative to me the 120.00 I lost on dishonest  seller and ebay and paypal can do what they want. Just hope other buyers don't get ripped off. I can buy elsewhere.

Re: improper decision

So you chose not to use the tools eBay gives to buyers in the case of an item not as described?

The Money Back Guarantee offers very good solutions to buyers if/when a transaction goes wrong.

Did you perhaps open the wrong kind of case? I can't determine that from your post.

eBay gives you just one chance to open an item not as described case.  Seems like somehow you either did not do that or opened the wrong kind of case.

If you paid with Paypal, you can open a case there.  Or do a charge back on your credit card.

Re: improper decision

I can't  tell what happened from your details.

Buyers almost always win a dispute filed on eBay.  If it's not as described you file a return request choosing not as described  or received wrong item as the reason.  Then the seller is supposed to issue you a return label by 3 days. If they don't you go back to the return case and ask eBay for help.

You're talking about PayPal so I guess you went to PayPal instead. When you do that you give up your eBay protection.

If you paid with a credit card call the number on the back of the card and file a chargeback.
