If you found the car on facebook or craigslist and if you paid with eBay gift cards, it was a SCAM that eBay had nothing to do with. Your money is gone and there never was a car.

As you can tell by the replies here, you've not given enough information for us to offer help or advice.

How about returning to this thread and giving all the details of the transaction? Motor vehicle purchases on eBay do not work the same way as other purchases in terms of buyer protection.

You'll also notice that we're concerned that, if the purchase was not actually ON eBay including an item #, you may have been scammed.  

Were you, the buyer, asked to pay with eBay gift cards?
