Every search I make for any part on ebay Motors is filtered for a 2009 Ford.
I do not own a 2009 Ford.
I have never owned a 2009 Ford.
I have never searched for 2009 Ford parts for anyone.
I tried to change the filter to a year of a vehicle I do own.
Ran the search again.
It reset to 2009 Ford.
Every. Single. Time.
The only workaround seems to be putting -2009 in every search string.
I am starting to believe that making the search stupider and more useless is on purpose.

Searching for a part for a non-Ford I found it was not filtering by 2009 Ford.
What I now suspect is that the number 9 in Ford 9 inch was somehow being read as 2009 by their now stupider than ever search.

Further evidence:
A search for a Ford part with 35 splines gives results filtered for a 1935 Ford
All numbers are now model years?
