I have a truck listed on eBay. I understand the listing fees, but am a bit confused on the Final Value Fee.
Is the final value fee a flat rate of $125.00 (no matter the price of the vehicle) or do they charge a percent of the total sale? I don't want to get hit with a bill for thousands of dollars.
I found this https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/motors-fees?id=4127 but it doesn't make clear if those are part of insertion fees or final value fees.
Anyone advice is appreciated.
Thanks, Christa

When they say that the fees are different for eBay motors vehicle listings, part of that is because there are no final value fees (which are a percentage of the total payment, charged for non-vehicle listings only).
For Motors vehicle listings, you are charged the insertion fee (free) when it is listed, and the successful transaction fee ($125) if it sells. No final value fees.
If you ever post more than 6 vehicle listings in a calendar year (including relistings of the same vehicle/listing) then you will be a high-volume seller forever more. There are different fees in this case, which are shown on your link. Cheaper, if it sells the first or second time it is listed.

No final fees anymore, just those insertion fees up front, based on your vehicle sales volume status.
