Why won't Ebay let me post more than a thousand compatible vehicles?

Because then you are spamming. 

The original intent of PC was that a specific manufactured part could fit different makes, models, years.

It was never intended for door handle decals that were never OEM. It was never intended for "universal" after market parts, like, stickers, air freshners, light bulbs.

If I had to guess, there is no such thing as an OEM part, which may be a necessity for function of a vehicle, that fits a thousand different vehicles. 

At least I have never heard of such a thing.
