Ah, yes, the infamous CL or FB motor vehicle scam. You found this truck on another site, most likely Craig's List. You were told that eBay would handle the transaction "for your protection".
Please make a note of this: eBay never ever has any involvement with any item listed for sale on any other site. They have their own site. Hope you did not send the numbers on those gift cards. Gift cards are untraceable, so when they are gone, they are GONE.
You need to cease all communication with this weasel and report this to the site where you found it.
