Three diesels with twenty empties hit a semi on a crossing near Parkes and burst into flames, the crew escaped, slightly injured but alive, the trailer driver on the other hand died at the time of collission, shame he was only 34, I saw the footage on the news but can't let you guys see it, no link. Pete I will see what I can do, the really popular beast at the moment is B doubles, tractor and two trailers but no dolly the front trailer has the tri axle behind the rear and the second trailer hitches like a conventional trailer, very impressive and a snap to drive, a bitch to back complete. Barry...the X driver 😉

It was common to for a tractor with 3 trailers down there also. I remember seeing a show on Discovery about a tractor trailer that runs across Australia that is something like 160 ft long. 6 trailers I think this roadtrain had. 1200Hp kenworth.
