Center beam flat cars. All the ones (scarce) I have seen have been too expensive. See a lot of them hauling plywood on the local freight. Punk

Hopefully I won't be the only person wanting something. I probably should stop for now as I got a few packages coming plus stuff on order and also layaway at LHS -trying to piece together my CDN RR and BN mergers. Eventually looking for (NIB) steel boxcars 40' preferably, from MTL; (These are to squirrel away) -Soo Line -Toronto hamilton & Buffalo -Algoma Central -BC Rail -Ontario Northern -Duluth,Winnipeg & Pacific -vermont Central -Grand trunk & Western -CP (red with pacman/multimark) -Wisconsin Central is it that is bought by CN? that's all the CDN I can think of. Sante Fe with map BNSF if it even exists from MTL. think I got the rest at LHS. (gotta search to see all the mergers, got some ordered/shipped) If any one knows of any that i missed or know exists...

About the only thing I would really like is an Alan Curtis 48' all purpose spine car set of five cars, any condition and a fair price, if it exists. Barry...wishful thinking I know. 😉

I wanted one autorack chassis upgrade kit to try for fun and I wanted a DTTX H/D flat car for army tanks. Now A/C is no more for the time being. Shiza! Glad I got some other cars when I did when he was selling direct on ebay wiith free shipping. dave

Dave N Scale supply has the upgrades listed if you really want some, I personaly just add a little lead weight to the middle section of the autorack then file the bolster slightly, and file off the con cor sign and the 1038 coupler box doesn't get caught, too easy Barry...into autoracks 😉

What i like also are the side panels upgrade kit for the autoracks. (perforated metal panels.)

Those sound like the piece of sh&t plastic frame Gps. Stay away from those Chuck. They are not worth buying if you want to have DCC. However L/L has out the proto N series GP38 that are like the gp20, spilt metal frame. and body mounted couplers. They could be converted to DCC easily. Another option is win an Atlas Gp38 DCC/ready of any road name that you manage to win and have it stripped and repainted to CSX in a road number you want). i just looked at Atlas and this year, the Gp38 isn't avail in the CSX scheme. The only CSX they have this year is the master series which is pre-dcc so you don't want that.
