One guy at work said the hospital his wife works at had to take the hand sanitizer from the entrance due to the degenerates stealing it. I've even heard of them stealing the urinal pucks out of the urinals to melt down for the alcohol. Welcome to the pararies.

The abos here are sniffing gasoline again.
Speaking of making alcohol......our wine making shops here also sell air distillers, classic brewers yeast and other things to make your own alcohol. They also have flavorings to add to the pure distilled alcohol to make it into rum, whiskey, scotch etc. If you must know, when distilled it usually comes out at around 110 proof or 55% alcohol. Check your own liquor bottles and you will find that most booze is 40%. So, the distilled stuff has to be diluted with distilled water......which is what the distilleries are sold for in the first place. Distilled water. The units are made in New Zeland and so are the flavorings. Give you any ideas Barry?

Paint thinner and blood thinner all in one. Airbrush and drink at the same time. we have a breakthrough. Thanks to Pete and his pickled liver.
Actually I have a coconut rum kit that I never made. Even went and bought a small jug and new yeast. Probably need to buy new yeast again.
On the percentages, I picke up a bottle from mt Etna, Sicily that translate into something like Red Lava Fire Water. 70% alcohol. Think tequila is rough going down? This stuff burns.
I like the shows on TV where they show the plant and how booze is made. Guy on dirty jobs went to one or 2 places.
If only we were born a lot earlier Pete, we'd be millionaires from the Prohibition years.
I have a carboy on table of Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon that's been aging just over a year. Need to bottle that this weekend. Siphoned some out couple weeeks ago for supper and it is nice. Much better than the jolly rancher wines that coworker make. They buy cheap kits and holy crap they're terrible.

Another lackluster month for releases from MTL. It's a shame they don't do more modern stuff as I like their product/quality.
I think the Z scale line up gets more modern stuff it seems.

You know Dave, I have just about given up on Micro Trains, the black high 60' car is fairly modern and is maybe the only car I have seen for months I might consider then again maybe not, it is a total disapointment when the 1st of the month comes around and absolutely no excitement, I did see Atlas is doing a GP38 in blue for BNSF I don't know if that is a proto paint scheme, I don't live where they run the rails but it does look odd to my eyes.

Pete, did your boxes turn up yet?

Not yet. It isn't two months yet. They are still on the boat.......

I think that loco barry was a GATX leased unit or somethign like that. I have seen a similar blue loco in Fargo once of twice. I think the one I saw looked like a GM EMD leaser as it has a blue square on the nose ( that would have said GM at one time)
I thought it was cool Atlas was making that GP38 but I don't like it enuf to want/buy it. I like the green/black units.

Saw specialist today. Going on a trail period of Cialis as for past 2 months I've been battling stomach issues I'm guessing caused formt he viagra. Tired of occassionaly throwing up mid ways into a meal. Tired of being cramped or burpy or since this weekend, sick to the stomach. Spent all day sunday lying down/sleeping. I was useless at work today. It's all I could do to pick up drugs after work today hoping I'm not gonna throw up. Hardly ate much todday either.
The cialis is only one pill a day vs viagra that was 3X day so hoping that helps my stomach recover easier.
Another beneift is it is drastically cheaper. 2 week supply was only $76. Viagra is 900 month so $450 for 2 weeks!!
Got a letter from public service health care general and they are looking into my appeal and said it would take 4 months!!!! If I had to be on viagra all that time paying out of my pocket, I'll be bankrupt. If I'm gonna be nausus, may as well be on a cheaper drug.
He wanted me to wait 4 months to see how viagra goes and I told him been on it since end May and been sick since beginning of august so there is no way I'm going thru life puking and sick to stomach all the time. I shoulda called in sick today as I felt horrible. Coworker said I looked bad too. Fighting off runny nose/cold so that doesn't help.
Specialist said that the other alternative is a drug he's reluctant to put me on as it is complicated. It attacks the liver, would need liver tests done every week for 8 weeks and no alcohol during its use. I don't remember after that for long term use.
And he doesn't believe in treating my stomach issues with stomach drugs as it may cause side effects that you'll end end up chasing with more drugs, so I can understand his view on that.
Also asked him about cause of disease being related to time in afghanistan and he said no. So much for something to go on for settlement thru DVA.
If you learned anything from me, don't get a rare disease that has no cure 😞
Last thing I want too is depression. I like the anti-depressant drug ads on tv. "side effects may include weird dreams or thoughts of suicide"

Cialis. So are you going to give the keys to the vette to Nick? I know you have seen the ad with the mustang in it.
I'd stay away from any drug that will not let you drink. I couldn't do it. Need my booze.
Seriously, I hope the cialis works out for you. Now if they can only figure out what you really have.....

Even if one had to give up drinking, it still concerns me of taking some drug that will deteriorate your liver,kidneys,etc.. not good. Not so bad when you're 80+ but at my age, I might like to have a liver by the time I'm 50. While my drinking has been rduced substantially, I still like to have wine when I am feeling up for it. Had a beer while out for dinner with friends sat night. Then i was halfways full from some wings and a beer. doggy bagged my main course. argg.
my stomach is so so today until I walk and then it all tightens up. been tight since coming home from work, so much for milling about in house and modelling.
Hope belly gets better for Thanksgiving dinner this weekend.

Well I have been taking Lipitor for my cholesterol problem for about 25 years now. We get a blood test every three months to see how my liver is doing. Considering that fact that I admittedly am a heaver drinker, my liver is fine. Lipitor has a serious warning about possible liver problems. So far so good. Kim is taking Crestor for her cholesterol and goes through the same routine. So I am saying that if a new drug can give you the relief you need and testing is done regularly, there should be no problem. I'd rather feel good than have a long miserable life.

Right now I'm on a 6 weeek trial and my stamach is slowly improving in last 48 hours. I wable to eath breakfast monday am and was actually hungry last night at supper. I think my stomach is loosening up, I'll see when I start walking into the hangar. So time will tell.
Friday for me so hope I get better as I want to do modelling after work.

I didn't have a cholesterol problem but because I am diabetic and have high blood pressure the doctor put me on lipitor as a precautionary thing years ago, my cholesterol stayed the same so when my left shoulder started aching all the time the doc said it could well be a side affect of the lipitor so stop taking it, the shoulder still hurts but did improve within days of stopping the medication, I have blood test on a regular time frame and cholesterol is still fine, thankfully 1 less pill to have to take, I just wish getting older didn't have such a disasterous affect on life.

I'll say this. Maybe it is age or maybe it is the place we live, but I have many more joint aches and pains here that I ever did in Arizona. I really think a damp climate is bad for you. That's why we are thinking of moving out to western Canada when we can. It's drier out there in Alberta. (Except for the flood!)
